I used to be very accommodating and understanding to a fault. Then I turned 40. Done with that.

Along these lines: Used to be young and visible--and overly concerned with what I presented. Now I'm an old lady, largely invisible--and there's liberation in that. I often don't give a fuck. So refreshing. (Silver linings 🤣)
